Big dreams in small packages: Dreaming of a Better-Connected World

Much of the credit for the global village that the world has become goes to the rise of technology, particularly computers and mobile phones. These devices, aided by the internet, have shrunk distances across the world, connecting minds and hearts. Emmanuel and Emmanlyn both students of the SOS Hermann Gmeiner School in Liberia, wants to join the information technology industry and become a computer engineer and an aircraft pilot.

The two ambitious little children are inspired by the work of technology and are working very hard to achieve their dreams and putting in their best.

They are also enthusiastic and loves to go to school together. Besides being active in class, they are competitive, participating in various extra curriculum activities.

In academics, Emmanuel counts Mathematics as his interest, while Emmanlyn said Science is her favourite subject.

Emmanuel said my “favourite subject is Mathematics, because knowledge of this challenging subject help you to solve complex issues.” The determined two children wants their parents to be proud of them, which is why they are working hard. I want to study hard and be a pilot, says the little girl. As you can see all is set to conquer the big stage.
