Between March and August, 2020, SOS Children’s Villages Liberia embarked on three rounds of food assistance to FS families as part of support to children and families amidst the coronavirus pandemic. It can be recalled that in April this year SOS Liberia provided buckets with faucets, bottles of liquid soap, and flyers containing COVID-19 information to 212 FS families and 210 partially resettled youth living in the communities. Also included in the package was cash transfer of sixty-five USD to each of 210 partially resettled youth.
In addition to the food distribution, SOS Liberia continues to provide psychosocial support to the SOS youth and families in the Children’s Villages, Small Group Home and the FS Communities.
