Girls Take Over
We are thrilled to accommodate Miss Enderlyn K. Sirleaf at the SOS Children’s Village in Liberia. In commemoration of the International Day of the Girl, Enderlyn, aged 19, served as our National Director today as part of SOS Children’s Villages’ collaboration with Plan International for #GirlsTakeOver.
Enderlyn K. Sirleaf is a Liberian and a graduate of the Alexander B. Cummings Model Science and Technology School. She is a girls’ rights advocate and a member of Girl Shine Network Liberia, a community advocacy group established to promote equal rights, freedom, and empowerment for girls in Liberia.
Enderlyn is passionate about civil engineering and is fascinated by how infrastructure shapes communities and improves the quality of life. She strongly believes that everyone deserves a voice and is committed to using hers to speak up for marginalized communities. Enderlyn enjoys standing up for justice and equality.
“I believe that girls can be powerful agents of change if they are given the right platforms and opportunities. Today, I feel empowered and ready to take on a bigger task and role, not just for myself but for the many girls who deserve equal rights and access to opportunities,” she said.
