In the wake of the devastating fire disaster in Old Matadi, SOS Children’s Villages has stepped in to provide emergency relief — donating food, cash, and school materials to affected children and families.
“As a child protection and development organization, we can’t just stand by when children are affected — we stand with the children and communities who need us the most,” says Nehmah Yeanay – SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia Program Development Manager.
Children should never face disaster alone. SOS Children’s Villages is calling on the government and other partners to ensure that children affected by disaster receive urgent care and long-term support. From safe spaces to essential supplies, helping them recover.
Together, we can help rebuild lives. #SOSEmergencyResponse #SupportTheChildren #HopeAfterTheFire
